A company spent months investing in advertising because sales were not growing. More budget. More campaigns. More social media presence. The numbers did not move.

The assessment found that the problem was not visibility. What the company said about itself did not match what its customers needed to hear. People arrived, looked, and left — not because they could not find the company, but because what they found did not build trust.

The offer for business clients — private-label coffee, wholesale, a lab — exists, but it lives on inner pages. In the places where a person finds the brand first, the homepage and Instagram, no business client appears, nor any sign of that work. The client’s channels were reviewed and dated in the report.

What the owner puts first inside the business ends up in the background of what the public sees — and what shows first is what he treats as secondary. A café, hotel or restaurant owner arriving today could reasonably conclude they found a coffee brand to buy, not a supplier for their business.

There is no need to create a new offer. What serves those clients already exists on the site — the change is giving it the place and the weight it deserves, given what the business wants to achieve.

Every finding in the report follows this format: citable evidence, explicit judgment, clear implication. No filler, and no attempt to sell you the next step.

Why AURUM was born

For 15 years I worked in institutional modernization, public transparency, and organizational transformation processes within the Supreme Court of El Salvador. There I learned to read complex systems — and to see why organizations make the wrong decisions about their own reality.

Years later I settled in California. Here I built my own brand, from scratch — and lived firsthand what every founder lives: investing in identity, in content, in presence, and discovering that the market does not always understand what you believe you are communicating.

Comparing my experience with other founders, I found the same pattern, repeated again and again: real businesses, with something authentic behind them, whose pages and channels communicated something else. I carried out a personal investigation into that pattern.

That observation became AURUM Brand Intelligence.

AURUM is the result: a proven methodology that helps founders and established companies answer one concrete need — clarity to develop their own judgment about their brand. It is not just theory: it is lived experience, and the pattern seen across many founders and their websites.

How the process works

We assess whether the client’s situation matches the kind of case where a diagnosis makes sense. If it does not, we say so directly. This conversation carries no cost and no commitment.

The appropriate scope is defined and fixed in writing in the Proposal — fee, timeline and terms — before work begins.

The client shares the relevant material: website, social media, communications and commercial materials. No passwords, no access to internal systems, and no financial information are required. AURUM works only with what your audience can already see.

Is this for me?

Probably yes, if you recognize any of these situations: you know your business has something real behind it, but you are not sure it shows where your customers find you first; someone from outside would probably understand your business differently from how you believe you communicate it; you are about to invest in a rebrand, website or marketing, and you want to verify before deciding.

If none of these describe you, you probably do not need a diagnosis right now. We will tell you so in the first conversation.

Can I hire AURUM if I already have an active agency?

Yes. It is a common situation. Some companies commission the assessment precisely to verify whether the direction their current agency is taking is the right one, or to get an independent point of view before renewing or switching vendors. AURUM does not compete with any agency. It evaluates the situation from the outside, with no conflict of interest.

Why run a diagnosis first?

Because the problem is not always where it seems.

Some companies rebrand. Others spend more on advertising. Others redesign their website. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it does not.

The assessment exists to help you understand what deserves attention before you invest in a solution.

What do I receive at the end of the process?

A report with the main findings, the differences identified, and the conclusion of the diagnosis. That report is presented in a direct session where every point is explained, grounded, and open to challenge.

The goal is not to deliver a document. It is to make sure the conclusion is useful for the decision you are making.

What if no significant differences are found?

That is also a valid result. And not the least frequent one.

If the assessment confirms that the direction you were considering is the right one, that confirmation has value. You make the decision with backing instead of intuition.
